Appeal Solutions conducts on-site training and seminars for medical groups or hospitals seeking a customized denial management plan. We provide software training on our Power of Appeals software as well as training and consulting on decreasing your insurance claim denials based on your unique denied claim history and staffing structure.

The fee for one day of appeals training/consulting is $2500 plus travel expenses.  This fee includes 8 hours of research and development of a specialty- or provider-specific denial management plan, including customized appeal letters addressing your most frequent denial areas. Onsite presentation consists of a 6-hour workshop focusing on implementation of the customized denial plan and in-depth instruction on applicable laws and regulations cited in the customized appeal letters.

Question: How can Appeal Solutions develop a customized denial plan for our medical group or hospital?

Answer: Prior to the onsite presentation, Appeal Solutions will request that you submit any available denial reports reflecting your organization’s denial history (breakdown of denial types – med necessity, underpayments, lack of authorization, etc. and percentage of denials in each category). If aggregate data is not available, your medical group or facility can submit five to ten representative denied claims which reflect the claim responses which most affect your organization. We can also tailor the presentation to focus on the specific personnel to be involved in training, such as scheduling admission/utilization review denial avoidance training for a three hour morning session and patient finance denial resolution training for a three hour afternoon session.
